A SIGN, ALMOST A SCRATCH—TWISTING LINES TRACED IN A CIRCULAR FORM—THIS IS “OUR” LABYRINTH. AN ELEMENT WE CHOSE AS A SYMBOL AND METAPHOR FOR THE MULTIFACETED AND EVER-CHANGING REALITY IN WHICH WE OPERATE: NOTHING IN CONSTRUCTION, IN FACT, IS MORE COMPLEX THAN MAINTENANCE AND RESTORATION.
In ancient times, as today, it responded to a thirst for discovery; its exploration is a symbol of the searching spirit. Only by following reliable design methodologies, which avoid dangerous and arbitrary procedural assessments, is it possible to implement a complex series of simple individual operations which, taken together, enable the goal to be achieved. Proper conservation work can only be carried out through a rigorous design method that includes in-depth critical analysis aimed at understanding the history of the object and its actual state of preservation. This will allow us to identify the most appropriate and consistent technological choices. The investigations carried out on site and in the laboratory are carried out by our technical department with the cooperation of affiliated companies, laboratories and diagnostic studios.
We identify and study the construction systems used, the materials, and their processes of alteration and degradation.
Through careful historical and archival studies, geometric, photogrammetric and photographic surveys, and mineralogical-petrographic, chemical, physical and biological analyses, we are able to find the right path to follow in order to resolve problems.

Restoration is a fundamental tool for a country's cultural heritage, its preservation and its history. This heritage (artistic, environmental and landscape) plays an undeniable, often implicit role in the formation and education of citizens. In particular, it can stimulate in young people a widespread and shared awareness of the history and culture of the territory and contribute to the formation of local and national identity. The cultural heritage of our territory and its conservation constitute a 'common good', like air or water, and the desire and need for active participation in its protection and enhancement must be increasingly encouraged.
