SURFACES ARE IRREPLACEABLE DOCUMENTS THAT TELL BEAUTIFUL STORIES. THEY RECORD EVERY CHANGE OVER TIME, AS TASTES AND USES EVOLVE.
Aware of their uniqueness, we know how to pass on their substance to the future with all their rich heritage of information and intense emotions.
Knowledge is the foundation and outcome of every restoration project. We have made this specific awareness our core value. Thanks to our wealth of humanistic, scientific and technological knowledge we can competently treat all types of surfaces, ancient or modern, and manage different design choices and operational procedures in relation to the ever-changing technological and cultural contexts presented by each project.

Proper conservation work can only be carried out through a rigorous design method that includes in-depth critical analysis aimed at understanding the history of the object and its actual state of preservation. We identify and study the construction systems used, the materials, and their processes of alteration and degradation. Through careful historical and archival studies, geometric, photogrammetric and photographic surveys, and mineralogical-petrographic, chemical, physical and biological analyses, we are able to find the right path to follow in order to resolve problems.
WE TAKE CARE OF THE FOLLOWING WITH COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE:
roofing, masonry, stone materials, plaster, frescoes, stucco, decorations, graffiti, gilding, stone and bronze sculptures, wooden works, iron works.
"Take good care of your monuments and you will never need to restore them,"
said J. Ruskin over 150 years ago.
This is the new challenge for those who have the task of passing on the memory of historical places through the conservation of the materials they are made of. Continuous maintenance prevents deterioration and saves significant economic resources. Prevention is a change of vision that looks to the future with confidence and positiveness.
Continuous monitoring, which is essential in planned conservation processes, requires the development of inspection activities to be carried out in the areas most at risk of the building envelope, in particular roofs, towers and bell towers. To make these interventions feasible and less costly, we have trained our restorers and architects to carry out temporary work at height using rope access and positioning systems. Technical skills, appropriate PPE and expertise in the diagnostic and operational phases allow for faster, less costly and more effective results.

Analytical activities (on site and in the laboratory) and surveys (geometric, material, degradation) are fundamental cognitive activities. Within the company, we have dedicated operational and instrumental resources to developing survey activities to support clients and designers.
Survey activities carried out using LASER SCANNER equipment, as well as PHOTOGRAPHY, PHOTOGRAMMETRY, and dedicated SOFTWARE, are available within the company and managed by specially structured and trained personnel.
Site diagnostics are carried out using partly internal instruments and technicians and partly by bringing in external specialists and consultants, as is the case for laboratory analyses (specialist laboratories, ICVBC-CNR).
We provide the following to support designers:
- geometric surveys, mapping of materials and conditions of deterioration
- on-site investigations: rising damp, thermography, video inspections, capillary absorption, etc.
- mineralogical-petrographic laboratory surveys, stereomicroscopy, X-ray diffractometry; SEM, infrared and Raman spectroscopy, etc.
The company's in-house technical staff (architects, restorers, art historians) are available to our clients and their designers to provide consultancy services in the drafting of restoration projects. These are highly useful cultural and technical skills, already in the design phase, for the development of executive procedures, calculations, specifications and operational details that allow the technical and economic parameters of the project to be defined with great precision.

Training is a supporting pillar of the company’s activity. It develops on two complementary fronts: internally, where through an annual standard program the operational and technical staff are continuously kept up to date. The company also offers training services, both basic and more specialized, aimed at a wider audience interested in the conservation and maintenance of historic buildings, through dedicated courses or through the teaching activities of its technicians in training programs organized by various institutions (professional associations, training organizations, etc.).
